The conference, which is organised by ASLIB (The Association for Special Libraries and Information Bureaux) in London, will be the 32^nd meeting devoted to translation and computer technology issues. During the conference, Andrzej Nedoma – Lido-Lang Technical Translations Managing Director - will give a presentation on work management in the XTRF-TM system.

The presentation will show the collaboration model involving clients, translation companies, and language service providers working as a team in a web-based translation environment. Andrzej Nedoma, basing upon the example of XTRF-TM, will present how such tools as a translation management system, workflow management system, CAT tool, and an e-mail software programme can all link together to create a real, online teamwork environment.

Andrzej Nedoma’s special guest will be the representative of one of the translation companies who uses such an integrated system in his work. Basing upon his own experience, he/she will present how he/she managed to organise the everyday activities of the agency with the latest translation technologies.

The conference will take place 18-19 November 2010, in London.
